The husk removal process is carried out either by steaming or boiling the rice grains, without even losing any nutrients in the seed coat as well as nucellar tissue. Every parboiled rice variety is labelled with Sella. The off white tone of the rice is due to the parboiling process. When cooked, this long grain, slender rice comes out fluffy and the grains elongates and separate. This kind of rice is preferred in many cuisines, such as Indian, Mughlai, Continental and Chinese.
